I redid Ned's icons (Some are them are very Dick Van Dyke... I'm pleased!!) which means that threads are mostly borked. I tried to keep keywords, but like I know there's at least one make out icon in the thread with Robert so JUST YOUR FAIR WARNING.

[Today in the Mess Hall kitchens, one (1) Pie-Maker is steadily making pies. Enjoying his solitude, said Pie-Maker is tuning out the world around him. He may not even notice the nefarious, poisonous plant that has snaked its way into his workspace.]

Sooo... I think I missed the day they handed out the superpowers that you get in design school. The one where the teacher says "you have to do all of these things and you have zero time whatsoever to do them" and then everything's okay! You can do them because of superpowers.

Except I can't. I missed that day.

So, calling a full hiatus... until things seems more manageable. /o/ More than a week. I'll be on gchat and in the design and DC chan, but not in mc, except sparsely. Or when I want to be.

Today I'm going to show you how unscary curves are. Note that I'm using CS4 so don't get thrown off if it doesn't look exactly the same. CURVES ARE CURVES.

Basically, just play. Sometimes it's worth it to hit the Auto button to see how the curves work, though I would never, ever suggest using what the auto says is right. Because it never is. Just work with it and get a feel for it and play around!

IN SHORT: Ned's cool (screw you, ABC); Mulan would really, really like a Shang; Booster's a failpuppy who needs to fall flat in conversation less; Piper is the most intimidating fourteen-year-old, and for no reason.
